Crystal Kabajwara
BOARD CHAIRPERSON
Crystal Kabajwara is the Board Chairperson of BIK Capital and currently serves as the Chairperson of the Tax Appeals Tribunal, a position she assumed in April 2024. With over 17 years of experience in tax advisory, she specializes in international taxation and transfer pricing.
Before her appointment to the Tribunal, Crystal was a Director in Tax Services at PwC Uganda, where she led the establishment and growth of the firm’s international tax and transfer pricing practice from 2012. She also spent two years with PwC UK, further strengthening her expertise in cross-border taxation.
An advocate for tax education and awareness, she has authored several publications on taxation and actively mentors young professionals through initiatives such as Mastercard’s Global Give Back Circle.
Crystal is an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda and a member of both the Uganda Law Society and the East African Law Society. She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Makerere University and a Master of Laws in Taxation (with Distinction) from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Peter B. K. Kyabaggu
DIRECTOR
Dr. Peter Kyabaggu is an accomplished engineer and entrepreneur with expertise in RF and microwave engineering. He holds an M.Eng and MPhil in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Manchester, where he later earned his Ph.D. in Microwave Engineering in 2015.
Peter is an active member of the IEEE and IET, where he contributes to global knowledge-sharing in his field and regularly publishes his research. He collaborates with international institutions on cutting-edge research and provides consulting services through Mester Global Ltd, a firm he co-founded in the UK.
In addition to his engineering pursuits, Peter is a Director at Bukoola Chemical Industries Ltd—one of the oldest agricultural chemical distribution companies in East Africa. Passionate about agri-business, he also runs Pebak Enterprises, a consultancy providing advisory services in commercial farming.
Peter’s interests include farming, financial markets, reading, and technology innovation.
Ms. Asasira Racheal
COMPANY SECRETARY
Ms. Racheal Asasira is a qualified lawyer and currently serves as a Legal Associate at Jingo Sempijja & Co. Advocates, a Ugandan law firm specializing in Corporate, Commercial, and Alternative Dispute Resolution services.
She holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Petroleum Law and Policy from the University of Dundee, a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre, and a Bachelor of Laws degree from Makerere University.
With over seven years of experience in company secretarial practice, Ms. Asasira is committed to strengthening corporate governance structures, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing strategic support to boards and executive leadership.
Joseph Bakkabulindi

Joseph Bakkabulindi is a co-founder and the Managing Director of BIK Capital Limited. He brings a wealth of experience in financial markets across Uganda and the East African region.
Joseph is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA, UK) and the Financial Markets Association (ACI). His career spans key roles in both the banking and auditing sectors, with a deep understanding of capital markets and investment advisory.

He also serves as the Board Chairperson of Tolea Securities, operating under ALTX East Africa, further solidifying his leadership in the regional financial ecosystem.
